Learn to See in 2009

You look kinda scared here, like a small animal cowering in a dark corner, gathering the courage to come out. But there's also hope in the bright light, like you'll eventually dare to come out. Half in the light, half in the shadow - that diagonal looks very strong! You've captured a moment with a strong impact here!
If anything could be improved here, then maybe the noise in the darker areas. Looks like jpg artifacts... If you have an un-noisy original and save it as .png, that might do the trick.
